Multiple fixed cameras across South Wales have been adjusted to enforce the 20mph speed limit. Advice letters will be issued for 4 weeks following their activation.

15 cameras will be start enforcement from Monday, 18th March

Enforcement on new 20mph limit roads will start from 18^th March 2024.

On 12th February 2024, enforcement will be starting on Mumbles Road, Swansea.

On Monday, 8^th January 2024, ‘Operation Ugain’ was launched to deliver roadside engagement across Wales.

We have been working with Carmarthenshire Council as they have introduced speed cameras on the A4069, with the aim of making these roads safer and improving compliance with the speed limit. These cameras will start enforcement on Monday, 15th January 2024.

On 8th January 2024, enforcement will be starting on Carmarthen Road, Swansea.
