Fixed cameras in Greenway Road, Cardiff will begin enforcement on Monday, 14th July

The National Police Chiefs’ Council’s (NPCC) 2Wheel Operation runs from the 2 – 15 June 2025.

Since it's inception in 2017 Operation Snap has proved a valuable tool for Road Safety in Wales. To allow the operation to remain efficient and effective, we are reviewing the operation.

New enforcement has been agreed for Rhondda Cynon Taff, Cardiff and Newport. The exact location and start date of enforcement can be found below.

The cameras on Penrhys Road, Ystrad, will continue enforcement from Tuesday 25th February.

Fixed cameras in Newport Road, Cardiff will begin enforcement on Monday, 23rd December
