Multiple fixed cameras across South Wales have been adjusted to enforce the 20mph speed limit. Advice letters will be issued for 4 weeks following their activation.

Enforcement will start on the B5115 from Tuesday, 23rd April

A548 Russell Road camera will start enforcement from Friday, 29th March

15 cameras will be start enforcement from Monday, 18th March

On 12th February 2024, enforcement will be starting on Mumbles Road, Swansea.

On Monday, 8^th January 2024, ‘Operation Ugain’ was launched to deliver roadside engagement across Wales.

We have been working with Carmarthenshire Council as they have introduced speed cameras on the A4069, with the aim of making these roads safer and improving compliance with the speed limit. These cameras will start enforcement on Monday, 15th January 2024.

On 8th January 2024, enforcement will be starting on Carmarthen Road, Swansea.

Following the completion of work with local highways authorities in several areas, several fixed cameras will be enforcing from Monday 11th December

­Diyar Wahab Ali, a 30-year-old man from the Pembrokeshire area, was jailed for 8 months and banned for 16 months after he falsely nominated another driver without their knowledge.

Following work by Highways Authorities in 30mph areas not affected by the new default speed limit, 19 cameras will be enforcing again from Monday 20th November

We have been working with Bridgend Council as they have introduced speed cameras at Cowbridge Road, with the aim of making these roads safer and improving compliance with the speed limit.
